The header contains important information and links. It has your logo, a link to the user’s account, maybe contact info or a CTA, but also the navigation. Bottom line, it’s important, so why not keep it on the page?
Try making your header stick to the top of the window so it’s always visible, even when the user scrolls down. That way, users are always exposed to this important information, which makes it easy to find and more tempting to click on.
