Make sure you’re talking about your customer, not you or your product

People are selfish beings. At the end of the day, especially in marketing, the only thing they care about is how something can benefit then. Thankfully, you can use this to your advantage.

When writing about your features, try to write from the perspective of the reader, and focus on the benefits they will gain from the feature you’re talking about. For example, say you're talking about a site with over 1000 site templates.

Don’t write “We’ve got over 1000 templates available!”, but instead write “Over 1000 templates for you to use!

In the end, you’re offering your product to your customers. They want to know what’s in it for them. Tell them about it! (It’s OK to be a bit on the nose 😉)
